Ayman joined mAbxience in July 2018 as Global Head of Regulatory Affairs and member of the Executive Committee.
Prior to joining mAbxience, Ayman held senior leadership and executive positions of increasing responsibility within Sandoz, a division of Novartis. He served as Director, Regulatory Competence Center for Sandoz Canada Inc. where he led the Canadian regulatory and clinical function in the registration and life cycle management. He served on the Canadian Generic Association as Member of the Scientific Committee, where he worked to transform government legislation and policy at both federal and provincial levels.
Ayman was promoted to Global Head, Regulatory Competence Centers at Sandoz International GmbH, Germany. He was a member of the Sandoz Global Regulatory Leadership team and served on the Novartis GDD Leadership team. In his capacity, he led a regulatory organization of +100 FTEs, spanning over 160 countries and responsible for Sandoz global regulatory filings and launches across all therapeutic areas, health authority interactions, industry association interactions and global governance of affiliate offices worldwide. Under his leadership, Ayman and his team completed +6000 global regulatory filings to regulatory agencies worldwide and received over +5000 regulatory approvals, establishing Sandoz as market leader in the industry.
Ayman was further promoted to Global Head, Drug Regulatory Affairs (ad. interim) where he led Sandoz regulatory organization (+850 FTEs) and the Global Regulatory Leadership team. He also served on the Sandoz Development Leadership team and Novartis GDD Leadership team. He initiated and led the largest global transformation and restructuring of Sandoz regulatory organization, spanning national, regional, and global organizations.
Prior to Sandoz, he served as Director, of the International Regulatory Affairs division at Pharmascience Inc., one of Canada’s largest privately held family owned pharmaceutical companies.
Ayman earned his Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Cell and Molecular Biology from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada and earned his Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Illinois, U.S.A. and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, Vallendar, Germany.
