CLONE

To duplicate exactly, whether a gene or a whole organism or an organism that is a genetically identical copy of another organism. A cell line stemming from a single ancestral cell and normally expressing all the same genes. If this is a B-lymphocyte clone, they will normally produce identical antibodies, that is,  monoclonal antibodies.
